Abstract

This talk provides a guide in revising/developing physics algorithms for atmospheric models. Together with a brief overviews of physics algorithms, a development strategy for revision of existing schemes or for developing a new scheme will be introduced, focusing on the YSU PBL and WSM/WDM microphysics schemes. Future development at high-resolution models will be discussed.
